 Jodi Breckenridge is the owner of The Historic Jefferson Ghost walk in Jefferson, Texas. She has conducted ghost walk tours of this unique little riverfront town for ten years. Ghost stories and history have always intrigued Jodi.
After years of collecting the towns ghost stories, she started researching old court records and newspapers trying to validate some of the tales she was hearing. Thus began the night time tours by lantern light through the narrow brick streets and alleyways of Jefferson telling the legend and lore of this the fifth oldest town in Texas.
She is currently collecting stories to publish in a book entitled History and Haunts of the South. Twice a year she has a special event History Haunts and Legends where speakers from all over the country come to lecture and exchange stories, along with special tours, meals, and investigations. Jodi is married and the mother of 4 children, now grown, 26, 24, 18, 17, and states they all survived mom's hobby of hunting haunted locations to explore.
