Leading expert on the growing “Anastasia Phenomenon”, Dr Leonid Sharashkin is the Editor and Co-translator of the English edition of Anastasia 1 and the Ringing Cedars Series, and presenter of the international Ringing Cedars workshops 2 . Furthermore Dr Leo based his doctoral dissertation 3 on the ideas put forth by Anastasia in this unique series of books. As a result, he is the most qualified person, in the English-speaking world, to speak on the transformational information contained within these books.
With feedback flying in following recent public appearances such as - “ I have no words that can express the WOW of these last two days” 4 and “How is it possible that one man can speak of so many subjects with such clarity?” 5 - it's no wonder that Dr Leo is in demand as an internationally acclaimed speaker 6 .
After receiving a Master's degree in Environmental Policy and Natural Resources Management from Indiana University at Bloomington, he headed the Conservation Finance and Economic Program of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF Russia) in Moscow. During this time he also served as editor of Russia's largest environmental magazine, The Panda Times .
Together with his wife, Irina Sharashkina, he has translated into Russian Small is Beautiful and A Guide for the Perplexed by E.F. Schumacher, The Secret Life of Plants by Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird, The Continuum Concept by Jean Liedloff and Birth without Violence by Frederick Leboyer.
He is also involved in a number of projects promoting self-reliant, sustainable lifestyle choices based on the integration of human habitat with agro-ecosystems. He travels internationally speaking on these topics.
