 Robert D. Miles is an experienced author, screenwriter, producer, director, cameraman, and media professional with a thirty-five year track record of successfully doing business with a number of America's largest and most prestigious entertainment and business corporations. He is well known and respected for his work in both film and video production.
Robert's most recent production “Fastwalkers”, a fact filled UFO/ET documentary has recently won two “EBE” awards from the International UFO Conference. One for “Best Music”, and the second the coveted “Peoples Choice” award, wining out over even a Hollywood production by Universal Pictures. Fastwalkers a full length general release High Definition documentary is currently selling worldwide in DVD and premiered on the big screen and was shown in Show Low, Arizona, Phoenix, Arizona, Washington DC, Hawaii, and Toronto,Canada. Fastwalkers will go into international release by a major DVD distributor in November 2009.
His formal work includes the authorship of numerous books, screenplays, video scripts, magazines, newspaper articles and feature stories. Robert has produced numerous films for television, full-length documentary features, and hundreds of television commercials, many of which he wrote, and directed. He has sold products to HBO, Showtime, the On Television channel, and, the Z Channel. His films have been shown by independent networks throughout the world and are currently in release on DVD. Robert also produced and exec. produced "Ice Cold in Phoenix" a feature film released in 2002 by MTI Home Video.
For over twenty-two years Robert was the President of Miles and Associates a full service advertising agency in California and Arizona in the USA. Safespace his most recent science fiction novel received the “Editor's Choice” award from iUniverse Press in 2003, and is based upon Robert's own personal extraterrestrial experience. Midwest Book Review Editor-in-Chief James A. Cox posted a five star review of Safespace on Amazon.com calling Safespace "A STAR-SPANNING SCI-FI TALE OF INTRIGUE”.
Robert has been a guest on numerous radio and television shows including Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell, Coast to Coast AM with George Noorey, Jeff Rense, Jerry Pippin radio, Voice of America, The X Zone, and dozens of other radio and television shows aired worldwide.
His formal education includes a degree in Aviation technology from Benson Tech. In Portland Oregon, and a Computer Science degree from Coleman College in La Mesa, California. He has a love of ancient civilizations, history, parapsychology, religion, and is a veracious reader of books of all genres. He is a sought after lecturer and has given seminars and spoken to hundreds of groups throughout the world.
