 Sage (Stacy) Lewis is the Creature Teacher with Dancing Porcupine and is a Level 3 Certified Tellington TTouch® Practitioner for Companion Animals, Life Coach, Animal Communicator and Shamanic Practitioner for People and Pets.
She is a dynamic clinician and public speaker and her work has been published in a variety of publications. Sage has been a speaker at the local and national level, and has appeared on ESPN2 (2005), KFAI radio (2006), AnimalWise Radio (2006) and Fox News (2007).
Sage is the author of JAVA: The True Story of a Shelter Dog Who Rescued a Woman - a true account of the trials, tribulations and incredible triumphs of her work with her dog, Java. As a fourteen year teaching veteran, Sage's passion is guiding and supporting the excellence in all creatures.
Java is a Plott Hound who came to Sage at 12 weeks old from a shelter in Wisconsin. Java is an amazing teacher, student, dancer and warrior. With the wisdom of a sage and the spirit of a puppy, Java is the dog who led Sage to where she is today - and vice versa. They continue to dance in harmony through life, and to learn, grow and play together.
